8TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE SUMMARY The iRODS User Group Meeting of 2016 gathered together iRODS users, Consortium members, and staff to discuss iRODS-enabled applications and discoveries, technologies developed around iRODS, and future development and sustainability of iRODS and the iRODS Consortium. The two-day event was held on June 8th and 9th in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, hosted by the iRODS Consortium, with over 90 people attending. Attendees and presenters represented over 30 academic, government, and commercial institutions.
