Publisher's Synopsis

from the earthen drum of my body

tells stories about wild women, hungry lovers, and the shaman that rescues road kill abandoned on the side of the road. Within these pages are healings of heart and spirit, journeys of ancient souls that haunt canyons, jungles, and dark castles. Deborah Ramos' poems reveal visions of past lives with queens and the sea, some worlds real and some imagined.
