It is the story of the Khavaran Mothers, the mothers and wives of mass executed Iranian leftists who were buried in the desert area of Khavaran. The author, Aboulfazl Mohagheghi, who himself experienced prosecution during that time, has elaborated a unique literary narrative of great historic significance, based on real documents, observations and talks with the victims.
