Why the blank pages...?
I come from an early childhood education background and because of this I have learnt that children will engage more with stories if they feel like they are a part of it.
Through doing this with some children over my time as an educator working with varying ages, I have learnt that children will sometimes draw themselves into the stories and as such they develop a stronger sense of identity and will actually participate more in story time which can also benefit the reader. Be it a parent, guardian, or a teacher.
So, my goal as an author and an educator is to write "blank page" stories for children to draw and engage more with the stories they read and with the people they read with.
