Publisher's Synopsis
(Translation from Chinese) In this book, the author conducts a preliminary exploration of issues related to the selection of instructional models in music classrooms, with particular attention to the influence of the learning approaches advocated by the 2004 curriculum reform-namely autonomy, collaboration, and inquiry-on teachers' pedagogical practices. By reviewing literature on general and subject-specific instructional models and analysing a wide range of music lesson plans, the study identifies six types of music teaching models that not only align with the distinctive characteristics of music education but also embody the principles of contemporary learning approaches.
