With returning health, I prayed that the Lord would still give me something to do. The answer came; and for the past ten years this poem has been my ministry, having delivered it from platform and pulpit in nearly every State in the Union, and in Canada.
At the earnest solicitation of many who have heard Your Mother's Apron Strings, I have con cluded to publish it, for the first time, in this form.
It is the author's prayer that this little volume may prove a World-pulpit.
