Publisher's Synopsis
The arrival of young Adolf Hitler in Liverpool comes as something of a nasty shock to his genteel brother and sister-in-law Alois and Bridget. Penniless and disillusioned, Adolf is far from being the ideal house guest. He lives in fear of being caught for avoiding national service in his native Austria, is dirty and idle and brings only trouble and shame into his brother's household. It seems to all concerned that Adolf is a young man who will never amount to anything.
