Publisher's Synopsis

This autobiography was written, primarily, to pass on to my children and grandchildren a vision of what life was like back in the "stone age" -- the olden days before everyone had a telephone in their pocket. I can't say my life was exceptional, but it has been a lot of fun to write about it, even when including the heartaches along the way. I have loved the flatlands and prairies of eastern Colorado and the magnificent mountains of western Montana. I have loved my wife, my family, and my dogs; and I have enjoyed a professional career that gave me a great deal of satisfaction. Along the way I haven't done any major damage to the world or the people in it; and I may even have done something good. I sincerely hope so.
