Patti Lou and Shorty, her father's dog, had just spent the morning picking up a load of cattle feed and remembering the past. When a drug bust happened at the wrong place it brought out some of Patti's family history, and brought misfortune for dear friends.But, over the next three years, from 1982 to 1985, Patti and her horses, Blossoming Roses and Jediah, end up making some history of their own.
