The world is ever-changing, and I don't necessarily feel the need to change with it, but change I will. I still hold the same values and beliefs in God and know that he is the Lord over my life. I still like the same music and the same foods, friends, relatives, family, and so on so forth. However, there is a need to evolve and reinvent me. The same old me just ain't working anymore, and it's getting old. Sometimes reinventing yourself has a risk, but there is also a reward waiting along the way and at the end if you succeed. The risk is stepping out of your comfort zone and allowing yourself to be vulnerable before others. To accept the criticisms as well as compliments along the journey of discovery. It seems quite strange to still have the desire to pursue this idea with the pandemic and all, but pursue it, I will. Paul Tillich once said, "Decision is a risk rooted in the courage of being free." If we allow fear to stop us from doing what we truly desire to do, then we will never complete it.What is it you really want from life? Can you really make the change happen, or are you too scared to go after what you want?
