Publisher's Synopsis
We should keep in mind that the rule that must be followed to perform a good breath is to always do it through the nose and not through the mouth as most Westerners do.We breathe through the mouth and not through the nose often, but much more when we are talking with other people, and this habit leads us to breathe badly also during sleep, without realizing the danger it poses to our health. All parents should accustom their children to learn to breathe through the nose, since inadequate breathing can hamper the development of the thyroid gland. The tonsils are also infected by breathing through the mouth, causing annoying inflammation.Nature has provided us with a defensive team to prevent impurities from entering our body that ultimately only cause us diseases. Thus, inside our nostrils there is a filter formed by hairs that prevent the passage of small insects, dust or harmful particles that could harm our lungs. It is also in the nose where the mucous membranes are responsible for heating excessively cold air and where dust particles and other harmful particles are retained that the hairs could not retain and from which we can get rid of by expelling the air forcefully by the nose. There are also glands in the nose that fight against the microbes that manage to reach them and from where it is warned through smell that there is a danger in the environment that threatens us, such as poisonous gases, decomposing substances, etc.The organs of smell and their olfactory nerve endings, in addition to making us perceive odors, have as their main mission the absorption of air from the air.The lack of prâna (ozone) in the air gives us a feeling of overwhelm or drowning. We have all been able to verify that when we have a cold we cannot breathe properly through the nose and this is due to the lack of prâna, whose lack of sensitive people can suffer serious respiratory problems and even heart disorders.
