Maliyah had settled for a relationship with Bennett because she couldn't have than man she wanted. After receiving the worst possible news from some random chick, Maliyah ends up in the last place she ever thought she would be. Asher has been dating Meeka since high school. After 6 years, they are basically just existing for each other. Asher wants a life that Meeka doesn't want, and he is starting to realize that she isn't what he needs.
