Publisher's Synopsis
This works sets out the current status of our understanding of all the imaging techniques available for the diagnosis of disorders of the wrist. While conventional imaging is of great importance, dynamic radiography, arthrography and cinearthrography are the techniques to be used to demonstrate hitherto unknown ligamentous lesions. However, the most recent advance is certainly by magnetic resonance, which is still in processof development and may replace many of the techniques in current usage. Diagnostic and therapeutic arthroscopy also constitutes a technique which, when mastered, makes it possible to detect lesions passed over byother investigations. All the other well-known techniques are described, together with algorithms providing a guide in this labyrinth.
