Publisher's Synopsis
With a new cosmology and a new concept of God and humanity, the New Age movement in South Africa has been met with negative reactions in some Christian circles. Rather than take this view, this book instead probes New Age beliefs, arguing that some of its central themes are already prevelant in society, whether we realise it or not.;Also discussed is the idea that the New Age movement is highly amorphous, uniting many different groups and services who at first glance seem to possess divergent views. From this study, the unity is found to come from a shared vision of a `new spiritualised age'.
