Publisher's Synopsis
The young cowboy stood stoic and frozen in place, watching his Dream walk away. Every decent thing within him cried out to run to Rabekah and hold her in his arms and kiss her tears away. But he knew in his heart that now may not be the time.......NOT NOW ......MAYBE NOT EVER. _________________________________________________________________________ "Amanda's spent most of the morning helping Sarah Jo get ready with her dress and hair and all. They were in that front room of the house there, the one with the arched window, and when Sarah Jo stood up in her wedding dress there was an awe went through the crowd. Sounded kind of like they were looking at a new born colt coming to its knees for the first time." "She can get a person's attention for sure Rans. I know she's got mine." ________________________________________________________________________ "You couldn't even let me finish enjoying my own sister's wedding, could you Rabekah said softly, but with her teeth gritted and fire in her voice. "This is about Sarah Jo and Chloe and the fever isn't it? Sarah Jo was just a little girl Aunt Lucille, and my Mama fell asleep from exhaustion. Can't you see that? "You don't know anything about what happened Rabekah." "I know there was only Love............and all you've been able to see all these years is HATE.........I feel so sorry for you." ______________________________________________________________________ "You think there's a reason that Leon may of known of your demise so quickly?" "No Sarah Jo, he's probably just a real good guesser, maybe even a dreamer. Could even be one of them PSYCHIC fellers that knows things," Billy teased. ________________________________________________________________________ Love in and of itself should be a fairly simple thing, but sometimes it can come at a high price. The old saying, 'All is fair in love and war', could have well been written for the Cowboys who are pursuing the Mills sisters, Rabekah and Sarah Jo. It doesn't seem like the Woodard Brothers can go anywhere without running into some sort of situation or trouble. And as Tim said, "When trouble comes, they're more likely to run towards it than away from it. A Woodard character flaw." A green eyed, auburn haired, and fiery little Irish gal crosses their path and it appears that they may be way in over their heads before things finally get resolved, now don't you know.......well maybe they don't get resolved.......possibly just cool off some. Maybe not even that. A real pickle it is they may of gotten themselves into. Truth is some folks just don't have much of a forgiving and forgetting spirit. Better put on your best duds because we'll be going to a wedding. The music and the food will be great and the bride will be..........like all brides.......... 'AMAZING'. Make sure that you've read THE FIRST FIVE BOOKS IN THE SERIES and then please join us in BOOK SIX. Billy's Ma told him that he would ride a lot of trails in his time, and as I'm riding along keeping track of his story I so appreciate your company. We've met some good folks and some not so good, and visited an interesting place or two. The campfires have been warm and welcome and the stories and camaraderie never seem to end. And with our Heavenly Father's help and blessing hopefully they never will. Did your sister-in-law have her baby yet? You said that if it was a girl they were going to name her Curlie Sue. Have to see how that deal works out? * * (That's what I call my youngest Granddaughter)
