At the Wayfarer Inn, a portal to the Otherworld and the local hangout for humans and demons alike, a fellow operative, Jocko, has been murdered. Every clue points to Shadow Wing, the soul-munching leader of the Subterranean Realms. He has made it clear that he aims to raze humankind to the ground, turning both Earth and the Otherworld into his private playground. But the D'Artigo sisters are on the case and are determined to keep Shadow Wing and his minions from destroying either world - and they will do whatever it takes.
