Publisher's Synopsis
A delightful young boy, named Deighton, makes a wish for his great-grandmother who happens to have Alzheimer's disease. All four of the children in the story are aware of great-grandmother's struggles, yet they accept her for what it is. The children try to include great-grandmother, as they intermingle with her while spending the day at Nana Shelly and Papa Matt's house. The love and the empathy that each of the grandchildren show is a lesson of compassion and understanding. This story is as charming as the illustrations themselves.
