Publisher's Synopsis
The wish tree was originally a shrivelled tree. The leaves were withered and the trunk was thin. It was on the school playground. The teachers told the children not to touch this tree because they were afraid that the tree would be knocked down and hurt. Until a little boy started to notice the tree and started thinking about why the tree withered like this: it needs to be cared for and loved in order for it to thrive. Therefore, more kids got close to it, watered it, hugged it as it grew into a tree with fruits. The children gave those fruits and seeds to a school without tree hoping to bring happiness to other children.
