Lord Myran, Roslyn's father and her twin brother, Rhyse, are beside themselves with worry. They have only one clue, a rare gem of lavender jade left in the snow beneath her window. It's found only in one place; the town of Talla high in the Jovan Mountains, and is fiercely defended by its skilled Tallan warriors. Why would they kidnap Roslyn - or anyone- for that matter?
