Wilmot Tanner is desperate to be famous - to make his mark in the world - if only he could think of a way to make that happen. As Wilmot's conniving older brother, Terry, points out, Wilmot is not actually talented at anything . . . except eating chips! When it comes to eating chips, Wilmot could indeed break the world record. Wilmot is raring to attempt an entry in the Guinness Book of Records, and he almost succeeds . . . If only he hadn't choked on that chip halfway through . . . Wilmot is gutted, and to make matters worse, it is Terry who gets all the recognition, by 'acting quickly and preventing our Wilmot from choking to death'!
