Publisher's Synopsis
This book, "William the Baptist" was originally dedicated to Chaney's Presbyterian Church Sunday School class in Lexington, Missouri, by the author, following a fruitful endeavour, following a question and answer method. In his strategy he focused on drawing from Paul's meaning in Romans 6:3f, "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ, were baptized into his death?" For it's second century (1974) Clyde W. Field edited the book, creating a condensed edition for wider distribution, and a longer version for more studious readers. Now in the 21st century we hope to carry the torch, republishing Field's longer edition, we hope that this will continue to bless, and inspire Christian's for generations to come.
