The multitude of stars in the sky can be confusing but the Collins Planisphere is the easy way to identify the stars.
The circular planisphere works in a very simple way: just dial in the date and time by rotating the inner plastic disk - the time - until it lines up with the relevant day of the year calibrated on the outer ring. The portion of sky shown on the planisphere will show the arrangement of the stars above you.
Collins Planisphere is accompanied by a 32-page booklet explaining the best way to observe the night sky and also showing the position of the planets for the next five years.
