Author C.K. Laurence now resides in Milton, Delaware, in her home affectionately called "The Gingerbread Manor." She shares her residence with her husband, Peter, a retired dentist and pilot who enjoys fishing, building and flying model airplanes, and spending time on the front porch with a glass of scotch and an inexpensive cigar. Together, they care for their rescue dog, Nico, whom they adopted in Philadelphia, and their python named "Football." Before transitioning to Milton, C.K. lived in Miami Beach for several decades. C.K. and Peter have four grown children-Josh, Abigail, Emily, and Zachary-and are the proud grandparents of six grandchildren, who bring joy and inspiration to their lives. The author holds a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University and has worked professionally with the University of Miami Hurricane football team-where she earned a National Championship ring-and the Miami Heat basketball team.
