Publisher's Synopsis

This is a story set in prehistoric days when humans were cave dwellers and competed with other cohabitants for survival. Their needs were very basic and so they led a very simple life. It tries to explore how probably the human would have reacted or thought faced with a difficult challenge threatening their survival or for that matter what coincidences might have been there leading to inventing things that had epochal consequences. The discoveries made by them were no doubt leading to what we call progresses but it also brought in cobwebs and their lives were getting complex too, unleashing evils unknown before.Bhanu lived with his community called Chera, in a pristine environment in the lap of nature that had been magnanimous in providing. It was a self-sufficient primordial society. They lived in complete unison with nature for all their needs and were contented that ensured a sustainable balance. But then their growing numbers led them to cross the river they had never before, even when Bhanu was not in favor of that. With this was ensued a perpetual desire for expansion. In the process they came upon a different race, the Mountain People that was much simpler and didn't believe in rapacious expansion or greed coming in the wake of it. What follows after is a tale of jealousy and intrigue.
