Publisher's Synopsis
Memories of childhood are shattered by a newly discovered reality. Where dreams collide on a beach of incredible mythical beauty, while chasing fireflies under the light of a full moon. Visions become real as the minutes with her toes curled in warm sand increased and the clock having to head home counted down.
For just a few minutes, I was back on the beach, hair stringy and long coated in a day of saltwater play, barefoot and sand covered, laughing as I made the fireflies dance in moonlight. They twirled and danced as I did the same at the water's edge, and the sea life watched just out of reach. One of my most vivid memories of a lonely, sad childhood, with an absent Mother, and foster family stretched beyond emotional means. Escaping at night thru an open window, when the full moon called to me, I ran on my well-worn path to a secret part of the beach at a magical lunar brushed time of night.
The moon called, and I answered every single time, even before my entrance to this world. Even before I could walk, I ran in my dreams to the waiting sea returning to my bed full of love and moonbeam hugs until the next month when the moon would again replenish me.
