This children's book is about a black girl named Claudit. She has undergo all different kinds of discrimination, including: she cant go to the doctor during the day, she cant try clothes on at the story. She even got arrested because she refuses to give up her seat to the whites on the bus. Her gesture has created a big stir amongst the blacks as they boycut buses. Where does her power come from?
