Publisher's Synopsis
WHEN THE CULTURE CLASHES WITH CHRIST
I was inspired to write this book after looking at the landscape of our society and the role that the church should be playing in it, but has not to the degree that God had intended for His church to play in society. This book highlights the impact that the culture has had on the church rather then the impact that the church should have on the culture. God has left his servants here to be the light of the world, to be a city that sits on a hill, which was never to be hidden, but to be visible for all mankind to see. God's direction was to let the light that He has given to his people shine before men in such a way that they may see man's good works and that through the good works, it will bring glory to the Father. It is time that we let the darkness of the culture know that it cannot overpower it, understand it, appropriate it, or absorb it because it is unreceptive to it. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.
