When Ed gets a job in a cabinet shop, his senior year starts out with high expectations. He has new friends, the new girl in the class is interested in him and his skills in the art of woodcraft are beginning to pay off. But when a girl who is in an abusive relationship turns to their group for help, Ed suddenly finds himself being accused of the crime.
