What's Your Point? is a question we ask of authors who are sharing their opinions or making arguments. As we craft arguments and opinions of our own, we keep our points in mind to guide us as we write. Consider that the Common Core State Standards call out specific strategies for students to use in both analyzing and writing arguments and opinions. What's Your Point? includes resources created by internationally known educational author and consultant Tony Stead with topics that are sure to engage students and send them on their way to success in both the analysis and crafting of argumentative text. The student books are written by students and include student-created art. Each student book features different perspectives on the same topic to allow students to explore multiple points of view.
