When Nora's parents tell her they're taking her to Europe for three weeks the summer after she graduates from high school, she's excited . . . but she'd be more excited if her best friend, Lindsey, could come, too. The two of them have grown up together and sworn to travel the globe together some day. Nora does tons of the things that she and Lindsey talked about doing together - riding a gondola in Venice, sitting in a Parisian café on the Seine, waving hello to Big Ben.
But when Nora gets back from her trip, she makes a devastating discovery. Lindsey is gone after a night out partying with kids from school. Left to pick up the pieces, Nora finds solace only with Lindsey's brother, Noah.
