Preaching Ain't Easy, But It's Necessary
My brothers and my sisters, let's be real-preaching today just don't hit like it used to! Too many folks don't understand what's being said, and even more don't know why it's being preached in the first place. That's why we gotta talk about the what, the why, and the how of preaching. Because if we don't get clear on these things, we'll be out here just making noise instead of making a difference!
See, we're living in a time where good, strong, biblical leadership is hard to find. Oh, we got plenty of folks with titles, but not enough with testimonies. Plenty with charisma, but not enough with calling. We need men and women who can stand flat-footed in the pulpit and declare, "Thus saith the Lord!"-even when times are tough, even when people don't want to hear it, even when they have to lead through dry places.
That's why this book was written-for the preacher who knows they've been called but doesn't have a mentor to walk with them. For the preacher who's trying to figure it out but doesn't have a model to follow. For the preacher who's got the fire but needs some fuel to keep burning.
And who better to learn from than Moses? Oh yes! Moses knew what it was to carry a heavy calling. Moses knew what it was to preach to stubborn people. Moses knew what it was to lead when he barely had strength to follow. And through his life, legacy, and lessons, we gon' find some wisdom for our own journey.
So, my dear preacher, my dear leader, my dear servant of the Most High-walk with me through these pages. Let's wrestle with the Word together. Let's sit at the feet of God's truth. And maybe, just maybe, we'll come out on the other side better, stronger, and more equipped to do what God has called us to do!
