What Did Jesus Know? This study of the Gospel teaching of Jesus from Matthew 24 and 25 focuses on Jesus' teaching on End Times and God's Judgment. The Lord left the Temple in Jerusalem, resolute to accomplish His Heavenly Father's will through His mission, to die for our sins on the cross as the perfect sacrifice (and then be raised three days later, triumphant). Before this, Jesus prophesied the destruction of the Temple (which took place 38 years later), and then Jesus went on to answer the disciples questions about what signs they should look for in the End Times and when God's judgment will take place. The disciples could only begin to fathom the great time span and incredible things that Jesus spoke about. While Jesus made it clear that only the Heavenly Father knows the day and the hour of His return to judge the earth, Jesus also revealed many things to challenge and inspire people to live according to God's purposes, to serve faithfully and to discover the Lord's presence in every encounter of serving. Pastor Scott Arnold is an ordained Baptist Minister, serving American Baptist Churches for over 33 years. He is currently Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Bedford, Massachusetts. He is also a chaplain at Carleton Willard Village in Bedford. Scott is a cancer survivor who experienced a dramatic healing encounter with Jesus Christ in 2002, when he was in the fourth stage of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Scott has a Doctorate Degree in Ministry from Luther Rice University; a Masters of Divinity from Northern Seminary; a Bachelor's of Science in Urban Planning from Michigan State University and an Associate Degree in Art from Delta College.
