Part of the analysis of the California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids program, this report describes the results of the staff survey, which is designed to help understand the role of caseworkers in the implementation process. Conducted in support of the process analysis of the California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) program, this report describes the results of the CalWORKs Program Staff Survey. The findings reveal caseworkers' beliefs about their departments' priorities, the resources that they bring to the program, the ways they are implementing the new policies, and their impressions about barriers to employment that clients face.
