Publisher's Synopsis
Watercolor Leaves is a poetry chapbook that takes the reader on a journey through four seasons of deconstructing faith. During the first season, "fall", the reader begins to feel a little uneasy as the narrator begins to realize the possibility that everything she's been taught her whole life isn't true. The second season, "winter", reveals the narrator's raw, unfiltered emotions; rage, unbelief, and even depression. It is necessary that she lets herself have these feelings and be unfruitful for a season so that leaves can bud anew in "spring".Finally, "summer" is about identity and acceptance. Who is the narrator and how does she fit in the word of faith? Who is God?
