This is the second major publication to be produced by the IBA's Environmental Law Committee in the last two years. The revised and edited contributions of leading legal practitioners and academics from Europe, North America and Asia are faithfully reproduced, providing a critical and exploratory assessment of current methods of water quality regulation, transfrontier pollution and liability, land-based sources of water pollution - non point-source pollution and point-source pollution, enforcement of water pollution control regulations, coastal zone management, ground wate contamination, and spills and emergency responses.
