The Washington Dead City Series follows the main protagonist, Jim, through his fight against madness in an Apocalyptic United States. The series is told as Jim's first hand (first person) account of what it is like to be a teen during the rise of the Dead. The second book of the series follows former High-School student Jim as he struggles to lead his group of other young survivors through a quickly decaying United States of America; on a suicide journey towards what may be the last safe place in the world. Alcatraz Island. When the dead start walking; age becomes irrelevant. The only thing that matters, is if you're breathing or not. And as long as Jim breathes, he will destroy anyone who harms his friends.
