Publisher's Synopsis

Excerpt from Was John Bunyan a Gipsy?: An Address to the British Press

As I have said in article all that this subject stands in need of is investigation and discussion, for with these it can take care of itself. Civilization should not tolerate the idea that a large part of the population must remain forever socially pro scribed, to gratify the prejudice of caste of the others, or their incredulity in the absence of the instinctive and intuitive traits that are necessary to perceive all the bearings of the subject in discussion, or of that personal and social courage that will main. Tain a righteous cause under all circumstances.
