Gage is used to being alone. He has his brother, although they don't see each other often. From the time they were born, their mother instilled in them the need to hide Gage's shifter side. To this day, they still hide their relationship from others. This past year has changed everything though and Gage is adjusting to having a family and friends in the Nightwood Clan. What he never expected was for his mate to show up and his brother to go missing.
Elliot has always felt like an oddball. Of course, that could be because he was the only human in a family of vampires. They adopted him when his living conditions were less than ideal, and he's always been grateful, but that also meant that they were always overprotective. Finally, he gets a chance at freedom when the seer of the family sends him on his way. He doesn't think he'll actually lose all the bodyguards, but one can hope.
Can Gage and Elliot find the time to solidify their bond amid the outside chaos? Or will someone else try to destroy it for their own gain?
