Indeed, these were regularly the first words of Rev Shawn Verhey as he greeted me with a cafetière of freshly brewed Columbian around 6.30 am each Wednesday and Thursday mornings at the Prison.

And as good as his word, the first priority after coffee greeted the day, was to separate and each pray our Morning Prayer, he regularly using Celtic Prayer or choosing random passages from Scripture and thereafter penning his own responses as the Spirit guided him.
