Kinloch Anderson Thistle tartan: Kinloch Anderson has created its own exclusive range of tartans which are available to all. They are based on the sett of the Clan Anderson tartan. The name Anderson means son of Andrew and Kinloch means head of the loch. The Thistle Tartan introduces the rich deep purple and green hues which are found in the thistle, the emblem and flower of Scotland. The colours are two shades of dark purple, dark green, turquoise blue, dark burgundy and dark charcoal.
