This Rowanberry Tartan Mini Notebook with pen is bound in genuine tartan cloth woven in Great Britain. The notebook is part of the Scottish Traditions series. This is one of Kinloch Anderson's house tartans. The Rowanberry Tartan blends four shades of red and a golden yellow overcheck. In Scotland the berries of the rowan tree are red whereas in Asia there are some species where the berries are a golden yellow. The tree is famed for its hardiness and ability to survive in the mountains and its long, interesting history and mythology. Rowan is a Scottish word, derived from the Gaelic rudha-an, which means "the red one''. The Notebook has 96 pages, has format 10.5 x 7.5 cm and is supplied with a pen loop and retractable black pen; elastic closure, ribbon marker, eight perforated end leaves and expandable inner note holder.
