All those interested in the wrist, a complex joint the importance of which has recently been recognised, must be familiar with all the investigations useful in the diagnosis of traumatic, inflammatory and degenerative disorders. Conventional radiology is the most available examination and its various modalities in terms of static and dynamic views are specified.;This work details many techniques, with their techniques, results and indications: scintigraphy, arthrography, cinearthrography, CT scanning and especially magnetic resonance imaging are all reviewed, as well as other and more rarely employed techniques. Finally, arthroscopy, at the boundary between imaging and operation, is described in terms of techniques and indications.
