Published at the University of Lancaster's Department of Religious Studies, Coakley's brief introduction to William Ainger Wigram, head of the Archbishop of Canterbury's Assyrian Mission, suggests that he is a figure worthy of a full biography. Coakley quotes Wigram's friend, W.E. Collins: 'the sort of man whom soldiers think to be cut out for a soldier, and consuls to be exactly fitted for consular service; whilst we who know him, know that he was meant to be a priest in the Church of God.'
