Akram Aylisli este un reputat scriitor azer de notorietate interna?ionala. Pe numele sau real Akram Nadjaf oglu Naibov, el s-a nascut la 12 ianuarie 1937 în satul Aylis din regiunea Ordubad a provinciei Nakhidjevan apar?inând actualmente Azerbaidjanului. Aylis este denumirea azera a vechii localita?i armene?ti Agulis cu o biografie prestigioasa. Nakhidjevanul este la rândul sau un ?inut istoric armenesc, dupa cum o arata numele sau traductibil din armeana prin Popasul dintâi, aluzie la tradi?ia care sus?ine ca acolo s-ar fi oprit Arca lui Noe, iar patriarhul ar fi întemeiat o a?ezare; prin decizia Kremlinului, la 9 februarie 1924, Nakhidjevanul a fost inclus, ca republica autonoma sovietica, în componen?a administrativa a RSS Azerbaidjan, statut abuziv perpetuat pâna în prezent, dupa ce Azerbaidjanul ?i Armenia au devenit independente, de?i situarea ?inutului fa?a de Azerbaidjan face din el o exclava în fapt alipita geografic numai Armeniei.Cariera glorioasa a lui Akram Aylisli a cunoscut o turnura dramatica dupa apari?ia nuvelei Da? yuxular (Vise de piatra) în traducere ruseasca, în numarul 12/2012 al revistei de literatura "Drujba narodov" (Prietenia popoarelor) din Moscova. Oricum, nici pâna atunci crea?iile scriitorului azer nu fusesera conforme criteriilor realismului socialist ?i acesta a continuat sa scrie în anii 1990 la modul critic despre epoca sovietica. De data asta, însa, aveau sa se simta leza?i în fanatismul lor etnic-religios chiar cona?ionalii sai, deoarece proza este axata pe declan?area pogromului antiarmean din Baku în 1990, cu aluzii la cel din Sumgait în februarie 1989, pe de alta parte fiind evocata masacrarea locuitorilor armeni din Aylis de catre trupele turce?ti. Nuvela a fost scrisa în anul 2006, dar autorul ei n-a cutezat s-o publice decât dupa ce un ofi?er azer care în 2004 asasinase bestial, cu toporul, un coleg armean, în somnul aceluia, a fost extradat în 2012 de autorita?ile din Budapesta, unde avusese loc crima, Azerbaidjanului, care avea sa-l primeasca pe uciga? cu onorurile cuvenite unui erou na?ional, recompensându-l ?i, evident, lasându-l liber. Probabil ca un armean n-ar fi scris despre Agulis/Aylis mai elogios ?i mai inspirat decât a facut-o scriitorul azer Akram Aylisli în cartea sa. Nu este surprinzatoare, a?adar, riposta nu doar critica, ci ?i vindicativa a compatrio?ilor autorului la apari?ia nuvelei, motivata de atitudinea favorabila fa?a de armeni care razbate din paginile acesteia. Dincolo de reac?ia sanguina, excesiv inflamata, a unei na?iuni oricum predispuse genetic la un comportament agresiv, supararea azerilor, daca nu e acceptabila, poate fi însa în?eleasa. În Baku, în Gandja ?i în localitatea natala a autorului, au fost organizate manifestari în care se cerea moartea lui Aylisli ca tradator vândut armenilor, sus?inându-se chiar ca ar fi armean ?i cerându-se ca dovada analizarea ADN-ului aceluia. Într-o sesiune speciala, Parlamentul Azerbaidjanului a solicitat ca Aylisli sa fie privat de premiile de stat ob?inute, sa-i fie retrasa ceta?enia ?i el sa fie expulzat în Armenia. Pre?edintele Parlamentului, Ogtay Asadov, a spus ca e ceva suspect în sângele oricui îl sus?ine pe Aylisli. Ali Hasanov, ?eful departamentului social-politic al administra?iei preziden?iale, l-a criticat pe scriitor ca nu are spirit na?ional ?i sim? umanitar, ca nu respecta memoria celor cazu?i în razboi, ca îi prezinta cu simpatie pe tinerii armeni care au ucis mii de azeri ?i au ocupat pamânturi azere, iar pe azeri ca pe ni?te criminali. În replica la acuzele aduse, Aylisli a afirmat: "Daca a? fi armean, ar fi aflat to?i asta, iar mie nu mi-ar fi ru?ine".
