About the Author: James Dwyer is the Arthur B. Hanson Professor of Law at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William & Mary, where he has been on the faculty since 2000 and teaches Trusts & Estates and Family Law, as well as other subjects. Professor Dwyer is also the BarBri lecturer for Virginia Wills, Trusts, and Estates.
