Publisher's Synopsis
About this Book: "My Rebellion Ps. 51:3-5" is the storyline of my complete rebellion against God. I added the scripture because this experience reminded me of King David from the bible. Here is a snip bit: Do you remember having a journal of your most intimate moments that you would never share with anyone? Well, this book is composed of most of mine. I have been putting off writing this book. These chapters are some of the hardest to write about my life. I had to own my mistakes, failures, and bad choices. The hard question now is how much should I share with you here in these few pages? How much can I bear of my soul to you in these next ten chapters without feeling shame, condemned, or judged? This was my initial gut feeling. The truth is when I came to the LORD I didn't want to share my past. I wanted to own and keep this idea as a new creation new believer. Learning to love the way Jesus loves. I wanted to give everyone my best, the TRANSFORMED, renewed, and made-new ME. If this were true, then the motive of my heart would reflect the motive of CHRIST AT THE CROSS... RIGHT? Laying my life down. John 15:13No one really wants to take up their "own cross" to follow HIM. (Matthew 10:38; Matthew 16:24; Mark 8:34; Luke 9:23; Luke 14:27)This simply goes against our own nature. We would rather try our best to forget everything that was done to us, and through us, than to face the issues. The truth is until I own it, I can't surrender it. I cried and wept at the thought of sharing my inner deepest secrets. I felt unworthy to be loved. If people knew me, really knew the things I had done, they wouldn't love me. How could they? It would be impossible. This is where God shows up. About the Series: Vindicated Gem is a series of untold stories. From a childhood forgotten to the terrors of adulthood.
