Publisher's Synopsis
Jean Hubbard is 45, that dangerous age at which we become aware of our own mortality. But Jean is attractive, she writes a health column, she has been married for twenty years and is reasonably happy. She and her husband Mark go to spend a year of sabbatical on a paradise island. One day, Jean opens a letter for her husband by accident; it is from a woman called Giovana who has sent him an email address she opened for him, where some intimate pictures await. Jean doesnt confront Mark, instead she looks at the photos herself, and so begins a strange correspondence in which Jean pretends to be her husband.
