This journal features a less known painting Vincent completed in 1890 - Landscape with Couple Walking and Crescent Moon during Vincent van Gogh's Saint-Rémy period.
Vincent depicts the scene at twilight in contrast to many of his other works at Saint-Rémy where he painted most works under a bright sun.
The square image is presented on the front cover of the journal with a close up image on the back cover in matte.
