Publisher's Synopsis

Collection of animations adapted from children's stories. Eric Carle's 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Stories' (1993) follows a caterpillar who eats absolutely everything in sight before a magical event happens. It is accompanied by four other tales penned by Carle: 'Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me', 'The Very Quiet Cricket', 'The Mixed Up Chameleon' and 'I See a Song'. In 'Where the Wild Things Are and Other Stories' (1973), written by Maurice Sendak, a young boy is sent to bed without supper but isn't worried because he knows that his room and his mind are inhabited by a parade of wild and weird creatures. Also featured are five other Sendak stories: 'Alligators All Around', 'Pierre', 'Chicken Soup With Rice', 'One Was Johnny' and 'In The Night Kitchen'.
