Nora, a beautiful, intelligent and charming nurse from the Philippines, belonging to a prominent and devout Catholic family, seeking adventure ends up in an academic hospital in Chicago. She meets, Joshua, a brilliant fellow who went to Harvard College and Johns Hopkins Medical School and graduated Cum Laude in both institutions. He was raised in a strict Jewish household. They worked in the same hospital and fell in love.
They were born worlds apart with different backgrounds, different cultures and different religion. Their religious upbringing became an issue.
